I think I would have a problem with people being able to see into my house all the time. There’s so privacy available for surfing the net while in my underwear.
In a subdivision, there’s simply too many houses too nearby for that many windows. I love the idea, and would love this sort of thing in the middle of 5 wooded acres, but I’d feel way too exposed in this setting.
That’s an amazing house. It’s great the way it is–the bare concrete looks good I would just add art to the walls. My favorite part is the huge window in the bedroom. That house rocks!
why doesn’t anyone want to know how much it would cost to build a similar home? or where someone might go to find out? Thats the problem with these long strings of comments, nobody ever say anything worth two cents. all you people should be ashamed for being as unproductive as possible.

@mek,
agreed. give it a little altitude. windows like these love panoramic views. in the middle of suburbs like this it unfortunately brings out a bit of a fishbowl effect.
Bare concrete in some cases can be very effective but in this case it looks far too brutal especially around the shower area. It does look half finished, at the very least it should be polished. I think the builders took down the shuttering and called it a day.
@Kyle – Why not ask these questions yourself, rather than pointing out what others do wrong?
I would like to know more about the construction cost & materials, the sustainability and the floor plan. Anyone know where I can find out more information about this design?
Not too sure about the stability of these designs in a natural disaster! I would think twice with all of that glass in earthquake or tornado country! All that aside, very creative and interesting!
Very nice!! I love how in the bedroom there’s such contrast between the refined (and beautiful) dark wood flooring and the brutal light concrete!!
Hate the neighborhood…
or what about flooding? unless this is on a bluff or something away from water (which I am assuming it isn’t cause of the green grass), it will flood. Geologically, this house may not stand up against the elements.
I’m quite confident the architects took weather conditions into great consideration. The house is located in Llers, Spain so I’m not sure if they are going to get the kind of snowfall that produces such damage. Also not sure how this house is any more prone to flooding based on design than any other.. Geologically, this house should have no problem standing up against the elements.
I love the way how so much light enters freely throughout the room. And that grass roof nailed it. The only problem I see here is when it snows, could the whole house support the weight of the snow when it comes.
When are they going to finish it? Architecturally it’s excellent, but the bare concrete finish is horrible.
Very cool. The shape kind of looks like a take-out diner from the 70′s. Feels like a relaxing getaway
i love the bare concrete.
this is, hands down, in my top five favourite houses ever. there isn’t one thing i’d change.
yeah for sure high in my list as well. love the green roof.
This house is beautiful! But as mumu I think the bare concrete is horrible…

But it would be difficult to live there.
Wow, the designs are very nice, They are green, cool, fresh, clean, spacious, and naturally bright.I’d love to adapt those designs.

looks great, but here is my question: what happens when it snows and the snow piles up on the house? roof won’t be able to support that.
